Head of Space Engineering

We are opening a Head of Engineering position to structure and lead the entire technical team - hardware, embedded software, and production. You will be the internal technical authority, the bridge between R&D and industrialization, and the driving force behind team dynamics.
Your missions
You will be in contact with all SpaceLocker's technical teams to:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team (hardware, electronics, embedded software, mechanics), while maintaining high standards and a strong collective dynamic
- Act as the team's technical reference, arbitrating key choices related to architecture, materials, components and processes
- Drive the scale-up of SpaceLocker's production and industrialization capabilities
- Ensure and maintain the team's rigor across specification, design and AIV activities
- Own the engineering product roadmap in close collaboration with the CTO
- Structure product line management with an end-to-end system vision
- Take part in HR reviews, performance assessments and technical recruiting within the engineering team
- Help unblock critical technical issues to maintain the team's execution speed and delivery momentum
